It takes two to make a thing go right, and it takes a team of really talented folks to execute a beautiful wedding.
"Styled shoot" is a phrase that may cause you to tilt your head and raise your eyebrows like a confused labradoodle if you're not familiar with working behind the scenes of a wedding, but it all boils down to inspiration. Wedding vendors use these "styled shoots" as an opportunity to really show you what they've got up their sleeves, put their best work out there, and ultimately inspire you as you make decisions for your own big day. How do styled shoots work? Vendors plan a fake wedding. It all starts with an idea and a couple of models. Then florists, stationers, hair and makeup artists (you name it) jump on board and execute it to perfection. The hope? That you see their work and fall in love, get inspired, buy a megaphone, stand on a mountain and tell the world.
As a couple navigating the internet as your main source of inspiration and information(as we all do for pretty much everything), you should know that a beautiful styled shoot, while it is not a real wedding, is still created from real talent. Sure, we suggest taking everything you see with a grain of salt, but never stop searching for inspiration you love!
We noticed these styled shoots happening all around us and asked ourselves "where the heck is the video?!" So we made one! We think video has this really special and unique way of showing the authenticity of everything captured - thoughtfulness and talent included! We hope you enjoy. This was the first as far as styled shoots go, but if you know us, you know there are more up our sleeves. Stay tuned!
This team was a pleasure to work with. Keep the inspo coming!
